What are B°tox injections?
 
We inject a solution containing a toxin produced by Clostridium botulinum (a naturally occuring bacteria). This treatment is used to prevent wrinkles and to smooth out existing lines and creases, and given in such small doses by a knowledgeable practitioner, it is an extremely safe procedure and surprisingly painless.`

How does it work ?

 
This toxin blocks muscle contraction. Injecting this solution into the affected area temporarily paralyses those muscles responsible for frowning and wrinkling, giving the face a more relaxed and pleasant appearance. The wrinkles become smoother or disappear altogether.
 

Is it safe?

 
Yes - B°tox treatments have been used since the 80's to treat a range of muscle disorders and its effects are of a temporary nature. The toxin is itself a naturally occuring product derived from a type of bacteria.
